Jamie had his eyes focused on the stitches he was doing the entire time. With Morrison's body still jerking unconsciously at times, he didn't notice his mate had passed out in the process. When he looked up and found Morrison unresponsive, panic overwhelmed him for a second. With a trembling hand, he tested for his vitals and let out a huge breath when he was reasonable convinced the omega just passed otu from teh pain. Perhpas that's better than forcing him to experience that excrutiating pain while awake.
Jamie took to take care of the mess, and while he was washing his bloodied hands, he noticed the protective hand on Morrison's belly. He smiled, his heart warmed by the endearing little gesture. Morrison really is an omega... and he was nurturing through and through, no matter the situation.
He quietly slid out of teh room, and boiled some water so he could give the omega a good wipe. Preferably not waking him from his "sleep"... the tears and sweat would feel awful if he had it on him all night.
