Morrison had slowly made his way back upright despite Jamie arguing that he should stay in bed, he waited for him to leave for his services and tried making his way to his feet, wanting to gain his balance back even as the wound was still healing. It closed up slowly but surely and from the sharp pain, it used to give him it dulled into a simple ache he had to deal with every time he moved or turned over in bed so he wouldn't have to face the side that Jamie had decided to claim within his bed. He sighed when he woke up in the morning, realizing where he still was and squinting against the sunlight and had to pry himself away from the alpha who had seemed to cling to him in his sleep, frowning at him. It was hot enough already without having to be spooned, he complained and wiped his forehead with the back of his hand, uncomfortable and sticky, he just wanted to go back home where he had a fan and openable windows. Instead of being stuck within a prison cell of a monastery.
