Burying his face into Aki's neck, Nick tried to have his breath under control. He forced himself to lengthen his breath, but that wasn't working too well. He followed his lover's lead like a meek little sheep. Still shocked with the scare he suffered, he wasn't able to think properly.
He listened to his lover's heartbeat, let it guide him to calm down. He just toppled to the bed when Aki gave him that shove, and let him crawl on top. "i...." he finally muttered, AKi's words were finally reaching him. He reached out to touch Aki's bulbous belly. So large and low, it was resting on Nick's abdomen squarely. "tell meagain please, Aki. i beg you.. tell me again. you are here. these little ones are ours... i am in love with you, just as much as you are in love with me?" the young man sought for reassurance. Suddenly he was overwhelmed with insecurity.
He placed both hands on Aki's belly. He looked up at Aki like he was his only faith. "come." he whispered, and pulled Aki forward while he pushed himself onto his elbow. That way they could meet midway to capture each other's lips. Nick let himself indulge in Aki's unique taste, let that physcial connection reassure his pounding heart that this was all real.
