Nick smiled at Aki's deliberately loud words. Yes, in front of everybody else, at most they could only be friends. A stepson with his pregnant stepfather, what else can they be? "You're welcome, Aki." Nick replied, keeping them at arm's legnth but still held Aki's elbow jus tin case he needed that extra support.
As always, they were making their way back to the room so slow. The staircases had been a challenge for Aki before, now that his belly was bigger and he being so sore between his legs, not to mention the extra pants stuffed into him, the stairs were looking like mission impossible.
Nick stayed close. At this point he was more worried about Aki slipping and tumbling his way down the stairs, more than how the servnats could think. For a fleeting moment, Nick even thought that... since his father was so sick, he wouldn't have the time to listen to the reports from the butler. Even if he did, it would be so much later. They might not have to be so cautious every time.
He took Aki's arm when he swayed at a particular step. There were gasps behind them. Even the servants were quite nervous of Aki falling - it was just a dangerous scene to look at. Aki was big now, his belly dangling low and everybody could see his legs trembling. None of them would realise, however, his tremble were more from the stimulation still in his oversensitive hole, and less from the added weight of his belly alone.
