(i am sure you are! each of them are you little babies, aren't they? Do you also project yourself as one of the characters in your story?)

There was still a lot of babyweight on Aki. His curves had softened and his muscles replaced by fat over the course of the pregnancy. One would think he was still pregnant. Aki's belly was still swelled up from under his loose shirt. Nick knew, however, that underneath the garment,Aki's midsection was not pretty to look at now. The belly had shrunk enough, there was a lot of loose skin wrinkled up now. That, added to the seriously swelling of his feminine lips, it would need much hardwork and pain to recover for Aki.
Upon Aki sitting back onto the bed, Nick smiled at him. "It's ok, love. Maybe it's still too much to have you walking around. Let me fetch a warm towel for you..." After the hardwork of feeding their children, Aki must be sticky with sweat. the ever thoughtful Nick went on to get the supplies he would need to make Aki feel more comfortable.
There was no place that Nick hadn't taken care of when he returned with a warm towel, with a bowl of hot water. He helped Aki up, reclined against the headboard, and started wiping him down bringing away any filth that was on Aki. He took the time to take care of him, from every finger to his shoulders, down to his sensitive and swollen nipples to his midsection. Nick did not recall Aki had yet to see his own puffy midsection. When he touched that, he could hear Aki gasped. "Aki? Did i hurt you?" WHen nick looked up to check out what was wrong, he was surprised to see Aki on the verge of tears.
(I am thinking Aki will feel insecure seeing his postpartem body for the first time?)
