Nick was bleeding. Despite the best intentions from the doctor, his opening had torn and he was beginning to bleed as the head surged forward to crown fully. The doctor quickly grabbed a cotton pad to apply pressure on his wound.
"Brad, take over to push on your boyfriend's bump, i need an extra pair of hands. On next contraction, shove down the belly, feel for the bottom of the baby, and work with Nick on moving him down - he NEED to be born soon." she said quickly, finding the color of the baby's head turning a bit too purple for her liking.
