Jackson looked from the one to the other. When he spoke up, his voice shook.
"Drowning. My...my kid brother and I were swimming in the lake on our parents' property but... something grabbed me. Wrapped around my leg and dragged me under. I saw him get away, and then...nothing..."
The scientist from earlier walked back in. “We were able to complete almost exact replicas of your bodies.Organs and all. What we did was basically a brain transplant.Your real brain went into the artificial bodies. The artificial bodies are more agile and stronger than your real bodies.They are only meant to be temporary until we are able to fully heal your real bodies. If you want to, you can go view them”
They were able to move around most of the facility, albeit being escorted by guards. Alex walked outside and looked across the bay as the sun set. Earlier he felt a little sick but he just assumed this was a side effect and ignored it. “Forgot how beautiful it is out here”
