Erebus gazed out over his kingdom, a sly smile coming to his lips before disappearing as quickly as it had come. The sun was just beginning to sink over the horizon, already sunk low behind the western mountains. His enhanced eyesight could already see the glimmer of the moon as it was beginning to rise up over the sea to the east, tonight was the night, he would have at least one heir born by first light. 


Erebus had many, as he liked to call them, breeders at his exposal, to do with what he wished. Both women and men were eligible for the position of breeders, many of which were carrying Erebus's offspring at this very moment. The werewolf sighed softly to himself before he began his trek through the halls to where his breeders were kept. He took it upon himself to check on each and every one of them nearly every night. Though there were a few that had declared themselves his wives, making it a contest amongst themselves to see who would birth the most, the healthiest, and the strongest children to the king. Though there was no fighting amongst them he found it quite amusing. He had at least 5 at the moment, each of them quite heavy with his pups.

Sam ran his hand over his stomach feeling them move smiling. He was sitting on a bed scared flinching a bit when one kicked him hard.

Safine was sleeping when he heard Skylar's screams. He turned to check her out only to have his eyes widen when he saw his friend probably in labor. He quickly, but carefully sat himself and lifted himself up from the bed. He paused to rub his huge stomach, wincing slightly when he felt a kick. He greet the babies good evening with a smile, before making his way to his friend. He sat by the edge of her bed and put a hand to her belly, feeling if everything's fine. He was shocked to feel it rock hard. He looked at Skylar's eyes and held one of her hands.
"Skylar, breathe, in and out, that's it. You're going to be okay." He said in encouragement. he then looked at Sam.
"Sam, are you okay there?" He was beginning to worry. He was silently hoping that their mate or some medical staff come soon.

Skylar held safine's hand and breath liked he said "it hurts saf" as she squeezes his hand "shouldn't the prince be coming around soon to check on us?" She asks as she winces from the contractions

Safine was pained to his friend in like this. He rubbed her back and let her lean into him. "He will. Maybe he's busy. He will come soon just endure it for a while longer. You can do this!" He said though he was beginning to become unsure. By the looks of it, Skylar will be ready to start pushing soon.

'Erebus, where are you' he thought in worry.

Skylar continues to hold safine's hand as she leans on him as she breaths in and out as she feels the baby move lower making her move trying to get comfortable as she looks at the door wondering where the medical staff and the prince are "what happens if they don't come here in time?" She asks

Safine held her close and shushed her, slightly panicking in the inside. "Shh... They'll come, they'll come. But if they don't, I-I'll help you through birth." He was unsure of what he said but he must have Skylar be assured. "Don't worry anymore, just relax." He added. He bit his lip and rubbed his large bump, feeling his own sextuplets. He's also at the point when he can go into labor any moment. Now he's really hoping that his babies would take their time inside him.

Skylar relaxes against him and closes her eyes as she breaths while trying to keep track of how long between each contraction "are you ok safine?" She asks as she looks up

Safine smiled assuringly at her. "I'm fine, Skylar." He rubbed his bump when he felt a furry of kicks, wincing slightly. "They're just really active. Nothing I can't handle. Don't worry about me, just focus on your labor."

He brushed some hair off her face. "That's it just breath. How far along are your contractions now?"

She closed her eyes and breathed in and out slowly "about ten minutes apart safine" she looked a her belly as she rubbed before looking at the door hoping the prince or medical team would come soon as the first pup kept moving down

Safine sighed and smiled in relief. They still got time. He also looked in the direction of the door, hopeful. He looked down to see Skylar smiling face, and he became more encouraged. He nodded and shifted in his seat as if positioning himself to get up. He got up after much effort ant went to Skylar's bottom. Kneeling, he slowly seated himself in front of her. He breathed out and proceeded to check her dilation. 'Okay just remember your training.' he reminded himself.

"S-Sky. I'm going to check your dilation, okay?" He said looking over at her.

She nods and lays down and spreads her legs "thank you saf"

Safine got under the covers and checked Skylar's dilation. He rubbed her legs and looked at her with a comforting smile.

"You're at about 7 cm. Umm... not too long now, but I promise you you'll be fine." He felt a cramp coming up and hid himself again under the covers to not have Skylar see and be unsettled. He bit his lip and breathed in and out deeply, rubbing his stomach as he waited for the cramp to be gone. 'Stay in papa a while longer babies.' He thought as he rubbed his bump worriedly. He sighed in relief when it disappeared and slowly got up to sit beside Skylar again.

"Do you want anything while we wait." He said as he wiped his friend's face with a damp towelette. He kept a hand on his stomach, still feeling uneasy but decided not to make it visible to his friend.
