Jake is a Harvard college student who is going for his degree in law. He was on a much needed break after months of studying and he decided he was going to go to the local bar and relax maybe even meet a new friend.
What he wasn't expecting was to meet his baby daddy.
It's been nearly 5 months since that night and many things began to concern him about his health. It started with him getting sick in the early morning hours as well as his class times. Many embarrassing moments of him rushing out of the class room and running into the bathroom down the hall barely making it to the toilet to throw up.
On top of all that he noticed a recent increase in his appetite buying more junk food than he use to eat. This has began to become more and more noticeable since alot of his family and friends have been pointing out his growing belly. The final straw was just this morning when Jake got on his bathroom scale in his underwear looking down over his small round belly and noticing he had put on nearly 15 pounds just this last month alone.
After going to the doctor and to much surprise Jake found out he was pregnant. Jake immediately panicked and tried to remember how this could happen. Rushing home he remembered that night four months back where he picked up a guy in the bar. Looking for his number he called but didn't get an answer but there was an address under the number and decided to go visit this person and get some answers for he didn't remember much about that night.
Pulling up to the place on the paper Jake got out and walked up to the door and rang the doorbell hoping he was home

Thomas Lawson is an 26 year old engineer who works at a small car services company downtown in the state they both lived in. He met the college student at a local bar and he had a one-night stand with Jake five months ago. He had kinda of ghosted Jake for those months, he didn’t know what was going on with the college student and he didn’t really phrased since he was working full-time.

At Thomas’s house, the lights were on and indicating he was home. Thomas was sitting on his ass with a beer in his hand and he was watching the sports channel on his flat screen. He heard the doorbell going off, he placed his beer on the coffee table and he walked over to his door opening it a crack saying, “Hey dude. Can I help you with something?”

Jake stood at the door rubbing his small bump until Thomas opened the door. "I think we need to talk." Jake said showing the bump to Thomas. "I don't know of you remember me but we had a... well a kind of night at the bar on fourth street about 5 months ago. I found this paper with your address and came over. It seems that night was a bit too wild." Jake explained as he sat on Thomas chair trying to take some pressure off his back.
" it seems the doctor says I'm pregnant. You are the only one i have slept with this year. Sooooo I guess what I'm trying to say is your the father." Jake finished explaining hoping to get a supportive response from Thomas this man he met only once before.

Thomas took a second to realize who it was at his door, his eyes followed what Jake was showing and his eyes widened in shock as he watched Jake allow himself in. He shook his head slightly, he closed the front door immediately and he walked in the living room as he listened to every single word Jake was saying. Once Jake was sitting in his arm chair, he turned off the TV and he took a deep breath taking all the information in.

"Right... let me take it all in. You come barging here tonight to tell me that I got you pregnant by mistake. Am I hearing you right, Jake...?" Thomas asked Jake out of shock and he rubbed the bridge of his nose gently as he was also trying not to lose his mind as well.
