Malorn tried to calm and stop shifting, his toes curling against the bedsheets in discomfort. Malorn nodded at the offer to walk, standing with Archie's help and waddling slowly around the house. He clung to Archie during contractions, gripping his shirt and swaying softly along with him. It wasn't long before his water broke, causing him to flinch slightly against his husband.

"That's, a little early, dont you think?" Archie said wi5h a little hesitation. It was almost two hours from his last check, and the contrsvtions were getting more frequent and substantially stronger, but archie wouldnt think his.dilation would be progressing that fast. He saw the robes that Malorn had on him quickly getting soaked, and the dark patch just got a little larger by the minute.

"Bigger, ya." Archie said with a smile. "Let's hope that the fiest part's also true about it being faster." He muttered the latter part. Labor.may progress faster, but he doubt if the pushing part would be as well with the size. He fished out his phone and called the doula, rubbing Maloen's lower back while he waited for the other side to pick up. The phone rang onfor long, and eventually when it was picked up, the line waa broken. Archie just managed to grasp that the lady was stuck in a jam, so it.could take a little longer tp arrive.
