His name was known everywhere, on everone's lips and in papers everywhere. a Broadway performer, his current role? Enjolras in the Musical of Les Miserables.

There was just one problem, he got pregnant ten months and three weeks ago during a one night stand with a journalist. Choosing not to stop his performance week, he proved to everyone that he was capable of acting, pregnant or not. This caused many to demand extensions for the show weeks which was granted immediately. It was the eight week and final day of show night for the musical when he began feeling pains coming in, ravaging his large belly that housed sextuplets.

"You okay?" Came a colleague's worried voice, he nodded and smiled reassuringly.
"Yeah."

This will be the most unforgettable performance of his life.

shaking it off, he managed to act until the scene of the Final Battle. He was only starting with his lines when his water broke and contraction upon contraction rolled on top of each other. Without a second option, he is now forced to deliver on stage, screaming out in pain as contraction upon contraction attacked him with many complications during the birth of the six fifteen pound infants. With the help of a co star, you try to bring your children to the world.

((Would you like to start where they're doing a show before he's full-term, and then do a couple of time-skips?))

((Is this alright?))

Bright lights shone down, illuminating Jaime as he walked across the stage, red flag aloft. "They will come when we call!" he sang, and kept his determined expression even through the applause. His round belly was completely uncovered, his shirt unbuttoned and the famous "xylophone vest" gaping open around his bulging midsection; ever since the official announcement went out that he was pregnant, tickets for Les Miserables had been in high demand, and they had chosen to extend the run of the show. As the first few notes of 'Do You Hear the People Sing?' played and Jaime began to sing, he looked out over the crowd; the theater was completely packed. He smiled, his free hand drifting to rest on the side of his belly.

Michael sang with everyone, his eyes flashing with passion and joy as he let his voice lift up to the heavens. His eyes on Jaime, a mixture of worry and admiration shown on his face.

Jaime caught Michael's gaze and smiled, still keeping his expression very Enjolras-like. The rest of the show went smoothly, and he bowed as much as he could (which wasn't much at all) at the end, keeping a hand on his belly. The babies started squirming, almost as if they liked the applause, and as the cast went backstage and the curtain lowered, Jaime immediately found a chair and sat down.

Michael nodded and grinned making a quick bow, keeping his act as Grantaire up. Soon after the show, Grantaire stayed behind to chat with some of the remaining audience and returned after everyone else was gone.

"That was quite tiring and fun." He mumbled as he began taking off his costume and makeup, the other actors were chatting away and some were even playing with each other. Michael smiled, this was home.

"It was a good show," said Jaime, leaning back in the chair and settling a hand on his belly. "I liked the little flourish you did during 'Red and Black'." He waved his free hand, trying to imitate the gesture.

Michael shrugged, "What can I say? I felt like it." He said with a grin.

He went near Jaime and sat beside him. "Hey, Jaime, you did a good show." He said with a gentle smile.

Jaime smiled back. "Thank you," he said. "You were really good as well." He and Michael had gotten along well from the get-go, but over many months and rehearsals, Jaime had found himself growing fonder and fonder of his co-star, past the point of just friendship.

"Thanks." Michael said as he eyed Jaime, "Hey Jaime, are your kids moving?" He inquired as he nervously shifted so he's facing his costar properly.

"They are," Jaime said with a nod, placing a hand on the side of his round belly where there was the most movement. The babies got restless during shows, almost as if they wanted to be a part of the production as well.

Michael looked at Jaime carefully, "Hey, you know the last show's gonna be put on in a few more weeks, do you think you should stop for a while and have someone find an understudy for you? Cause seriously, you've turned away every single understudy you saw and the idea of anything happening to you onstage would be a disaster." he said slowly, hesitating to say that he was truly worried for Jaime's wellbeing and for the children's wellbeing.
