Kayla giggled as she ran to the table, began to eat her beater. Joan headed to the table and looked back at her mother. "Oh..mommy?" she asked. "Err..do you need my help?"

"I'm good sweetie. You enjoy your treat. We don't get this very often." He said giving her a smile and walked by his two little angels and gave them kisses.
As he cleaned the house and baked cookies he let both of his girls have a cookie before the door opened and Xander and his friends came in. Wiping his hands on his pants he went over and greeted them. "Thank you for coming to our home. Please feel free to do as you please. I'll have dinner going here soon. Beer is in the fridge." He said as he tried to do his best to put on a smile.

Without hesitation, Xander and his group of pals grabbed themselves a beer, plopping onto the couch and playing Xbox. Luckily, one of Xander's friends had children of their own to keep Katla and Joan occupied. They played endless games of tag, and hide and seek. Frolic, laughter and jokes, aired the household that was once filled with despair.

Simon was quite happy with this turn of events as he stood at the grill and started cooking the meats. He wiped his forehead as he stood there and placed a hand on the arch of his back. He felt like he was leaning forward with his belly hanging forward. He was very sure the baby could feel the heat coming off the grill as it squirmed in his belly. "Shortly the food was cooked and he smiled seeing his girls having a good time. He stood there watching them as his hand went up and down over the rounded flesh of his belly.

"Great party so far!" one of Xander's co workers said as he walked over to Simon as he stood beside him. "Come and relax. You seem tired." he gently pat his shoulder. "Xander sure is lucky to have someone like you, huh?"

Simon shook his head and smiled lightly. "No, I'm okay. I need to finish cooking so that you guys can eat." He said as he turned away from Xander's coworker and opened the gill. The food was done as he plated on the various meets onto a plate. "Besides he's not that lucky. I feel like he's only with me know because we have children to take care of. I'm sure he would have dumped me if I hadn't gotten pregnant with Joan. But I love her and I wouldn't change how things happened for the world. She's one of my little angels. I couldn't see my world with out her now." Simon said speaking fondly of his first born.

He then shook his head. "Sorry for rambling but yeah Xander is lucky." He said putting on a smile even though he was living to their guest. "He's givin' me two beautiful girls and then one more baby on the way." He said picking up the plate and went back into the house with it. They didn't know what baby number 3 was. They never knew because if they went to the doctors like they should they would question the bruises on Simon ' s skin and probable take away his children. He couldn't allow that to happen.

"Joan. Kayla. Go wash up for dinner and come sit down at the table." He said as he walked back to the door that lead outside to the backyard. With a quick turn he bumped into his husband. "Sorry love. I was going to make your plate right now." Simon said staring up at him and judged how angry he was for him bumping into him with his belly.

Xander gave a cold glare, before he walked past him, he grabbed him by the arm tightly and whispered. "I'll deal with you later." and with that, he pushed him out of the way, yet surprisingly no one noticed. Xander went back into the other room to join his friends, as they continued to talk and laugh.

Simon's happiness soon disappeared as he heard Xander's words to him. Maybe he could get out of it if he gave his husband more liquor to drink. Making his way to the kitchen he made sure to keep his emotions in check as he fixed plates for his family first. Setting two plates on the table for his girls first he made Xander's plate next while their guest had came into the kitchen and started getting what they wanted. Simon had some how maneuvered around them and entered the living room with his husband's plate and a beer in hand. "Here you go love." He said offering it with a fake smile and wished someone would take him away from his abusive husband.

Snatching the beer and plate out of his hand, he greedily, jugged down the beer, as his friends noticed his odd behavior.
"Dude, the least you can do is say thank you."
Xander turbulently threw the beer can onto the ground, scowling at his friend. Though he was aiming for his friend, he completely missed. "Fuck you," he hissed. "I do as I please. You're forgetting this is my house."
"Dude, your husband lives here too, not to mention he put all this together!"
"Yeah, Xander." one of the wives said, joining in with his co workers.
If there's one thing Xander hated, is being told he was wrong.
At this point he was angry.
No.
He was livid.

Simon shook his head and waved his hands, wanting Xander's friends to stop before the made things worse. "It's okay you guys, really. I think my husband has had just one to many drinks." He said, trying to explain his husband's actions.

He then walked over to the beer bottle and bent down as best as could. In the end he had to get down on his knees because of his belly getting in the way. While he was picking up the broken glass he silently wished that everybody would just leave. He continued picking up the pieces and then struggled a little bit as he tried to get back to his feet.

"Let me help you there." the co worker's wife said as she helped him gain his right balance as the other wife picked up the remaining pieces of the bottle.
Xander glared as he watched his husband being helped.

"No, no. I promise it's fine. You guys just enjoy your dinner. The girls and I made cookies for after dinner for you guys to have. So please don't mind this little dispute that me and Xander had." Simon said apologetically trying to keep things under control. He loved having the company here mainly because it helped him keep calm to have people around, but it also seemed to put his husband in a fowl mood when he was enjoying himself.

Going back to the kitchen he saw their two girls stop eating and was watching everything that was going on. Dropping the broken glass into the trash can he addressed his daughters, " When you girls are done with your dinners and your cookie I want you to go upstairs and take a bath. After you're done with your bath I'll come and put you to bed." He said knowing that by the time the girls had both taken their bath most of the guest would have left by then. That is if most of them weren't contemplating that already.

Joan and Kayla pouted. "Mommy, we're not even tired!" Kayla said.
Joan stayed quiet, she never dared disobeying her mother or any adult, neither did she talk much, unlike her younger sister, Kayla she was the complete opposite.

"You're not tired yet but you will be once you finish eating a taking a warm bath." Simon said as he sat down at the table with his two girls and started eating as well. He glanced up from his food every now and then to keep an eye on Xander and hoped that once everyone was done with their food would leave so he could get his punishment done and over with.

He scarfed down his food quickly and used the table to get up. He noticed his daughters were almost done and took the cookie out of the fridge as well as beer. Giving both of his daughters a cookie as he walked by and entered the living room. "Here you go, love." He said switching out the bottles before he threw the empty one again.
Once he had that in his hands he slipped away back into the kitchen and started washing the dishes.

After Kayla finished her meal, and grabbed the amount of cookies she so desired, she made her way into the living room of where her father was hanging out with his friends and climbed onto his lap as he welcomed her in open arms, kissing her forehead, letting her watch television with the rest of hi co workers and children that sat on their fathers lap as well.
Rather listening to her mother she stayed in the room and cuddled with her father.
Joan obediently put her dish in the sink an headed upstairs, grabbing her pajamas from the cupboard ;heading towards the bathroom

Simon frowned at his youngest daughter as he entered the living room. Kayla seemed to take after more of her father than of him when it came to listening. "Kayla, that is not what I told you to do. Go upstairs and take a bath. It'd almost bedtime." He said trying to be demanding and on the defense for when her father would either yell or perhaps get up and hit him if front of their guest. With one hand on top of his belly and the other on his hip he waited for a response from either one of them.

Out of the corner of his eye he saw Joan do as she was asked and knew he would have to do something special with her. Maybe take her out to ice cream when her father was at work.

Kayla looked up at her father, awaiting his response. Xander whispered in her ear, after he finished speaking to her quietly, he rested his head back as a small smirk formed on his face. Almost in a cruel way.
Kayla looked up at her mother as she hesitantly opened her mouth.
"No." She responded. The guests caught onto the little girls rude behavior, but said nothing, knowing Xander would lose his shit if they dared stand up to him. All they could do is stare or gasp softly, or just simply ignore and continue watching the television.

Simon knew he was going to get punished for this but he didn't care. It was very infuriating when his own child was not listening and making him look like a fool. Taking a few quick steps, even for his size he picked up their daughter Kayla and spanked her on the bottom in front of everyone.

"I am your mother and you will do as your told young lady. Now go upstairs, take a bath and go to bed." He said through gritted teeth as he placed her on the ground and pushed her over to the stairs. He straighten up and looked over at Xander wondering what he was going to do him now that he disciplined his favorite child in front of everyone.

Kayla squealed as she was smacked on the bottom. As her mother pushed her up the stairs she dashed right up in tears. A faint sound of a hard slam on the door was heard, yet as minutes passed everyone presumed back to conversations, or watching the television.
After all the guests finally left, Xander closed the door, lighting a cigaret. He sensed his spouse was behind him and knew what was coming.
"Do you just get a kick out of humiliating me?--not to mention, our daughter? my daughter?" he said.

"You have two daughters! Joan is yours even though you don't pay attention to her or show her any love. I treat them both the same. Are you not going to show any affection to our 3rd child as well." Simon yelled feeling frustrated and used that to give him courage in order to face his husband.

"I know that Joan wasn't planned and you had to give up everything pretty much to take care of us but she is your daughter weather you like it or not. Plus Kayla needs to listen to me as much as she listens to you because I don't want my daughter's to end up being like me or you!" He yelled at him knowing he was going to slapped for the things he was saying.
