Jace sniffled rubbing at his eyes "I-I know.....Im sorry" he said quietly

Jace rubbed at his eyes "Okay" he mumbled quietly now quite scared of the pups predicament

Jace took it and sipped it slowly, realizing how little appetite he actually had. "Thank you" he said softly

Jace sniffled and tried not to cry again as he nodded "I know" he whispered his voice cracking

Jace curled into him holding onto him tightly as he bit back sobs. "I....Im sorry...I want to be strong, I do...I just..."

Jace cried into him "O-okay" he sputtered tucking his face into his neck shaking with his cries

Jace began to calm down until the sobs had ceased and all that remained were a few quiet sniffles every now and again

Jace sniffled softly and rubbed his eyes gently before looking up at him "How old are you....if you don't mindme asking?"

Jace shook his head "You look much younger, but will you still live as long as Devian? I mean you look much younger than 63 but will you still live as long as him....does that make sense?"

Jace nodded rubbing at his eyes "So do you think I will live as long as Legard? Even though he is only a pup right now?"

Jace blushed a little and nodded "Okay" he said quietly and pulled back from the embrace

Jace looked at him a little shocked "Whats this for?" he asked softly moving towards him

Jace looked up smiling softly "Well thank you" he said softly and started a fire "Im not going to be able to eat all of this, do you want to share? I mean you'll need energy too"

Jace smiled and nodded "Legard taught me how" he said softly as he pulled out a small knife

Jace smiled and nodded "I don't get cold that often so the rabbit is fine for most of the time, Legard is quite warm though so Im usually fine" He smiled a little sadly as he continued skinning the bear

Jace shrugged "I had the pups, they were pretty warm too" he said softly as he began cooking the meat humming softly to himself, he rubbed his stomach absently

Jace sighed and shrugged a little holding back tears again, he knew Alistair thought it was weak to cry "I need to stay positive for both my litters of pups, at the moment i need to focus on my unborn ones as they may miscarry if Im not careful and if Legard...if he d-dies, I need them to remain, as a part of him"

Jace bit his lip and ran a hand through his hair "I mean....if he dies, he will still live on through the pups, like if Devian died you would still live on as a part of him. Does that make sense?" he asked tilting his head to the side

Jace pulled the meat out burning his hand a little "Ow!" he muttered shaking it "Yes, I know....but its different, I mean, he said I was his actual mate, that really Im the one he loves, he will protect D'anton but its not the same...just...don't worry" he said quietly chewing on the meat
