Jungle capture (Open)

Leo nodded and looked at Shizan quizzically.

"Seems like a strange coincidence," Leo said. "What about the rest of the temple? And are you sure the curse of this land didn't crash our plane?"
Reply

Shizan sighs and nods"im sure. Your plane killed my nephew and alot of the bird tribesmen. Your plane aimed right for them. Mainly an old eagle that kept talking about creatures like you."
Reply

"Exactly what did the eagle say about us humans?" Leo asked curious. His voice turned somber at the news of the deaths the plane crash caused. "And if you see him next, tell him that we're sorry about killing a lot of the bird tribesmen and that it wasn't our fault. We're also sorry for killing your nephew. The pilots were the only ones killed in the initial crash so we have no idea what happened."
Reply

Shizan sighs "the Eagle died, and he talked about the women he saw here once with a man. they seemed to be visting. He talked about how the man visted alone alot but then he brought a women course he didn't say women. Most didn't believe him.
Reply

"Maybe that had something to do with the curse of this land," Leo said thoughtfully with a shrug of his shoulders. "Could you show me around the rest of the temple now?"
Reply

Shizan sighs "No it had more to do with the actions from the man. Only two people saw him and his women." Shizan leads Leo into the hall "I have turned the traps off for now so its safe"
Reply

Leo nodded as he followed Shizan, treading carefully despite Shizan saying that the traps were turned off. He might have missed one and if Leo stepped in the wrong place, BAM! No more Leo. Though Shizan would probably save him before that would occur.

"What did this man do?" Leo asked. Maybe if they could correct the wrongs that the man did, they could free this land from its curse. Of course, he and Himnari would remain"cursed" as they are mated to Shizan, but the other males would--presumably--be freed from the curse and won't end up mated some other creature that lives in this land.

Leo smiled a little and placed a hand on his still flat--for now--belly. Maybe they could keep the curse going until his sons were old enough for a mate of their own. At least then he won't be afraid of the safety of the other males of their group.

Shizan sighs "the man kept himself hidden and would come vist the land by plane one time he brought the woman. She was nice and kind, but she quickly got sick from the curse the man blamed the old eagle that flew by everyday. He swore revenge on the old bird when she died. Unlucky for you. He got that revenge." He watches Leo and smiles. He then points out a tile by Leos foot "Here see this tile. This is were the poison dart trap is set off, these holes here on the wall is where the darts shoot out. The glyphs on the wall point these out for those who are smart."
Reply

"How is that unlucky?" Leo asked and looked down at the tile and then at the glyphs on the wall. "You'd also have to be paying attention in order to notice them."
Reply

Shizan "It was killing all those birds that brought down the plane you where in. The man died in the crash I remember his sent even under all that stuff" He nods " the glyphs tell storys in rooms though."
Reply

Leo nodded. That would bring the death total up to three--not including the ones who died do to the curse.

"If you can understand what story the glyphs are telling," Leo said. "Which I'm sure you would understand the story they tell."
Reply

Shizan nods "the one in our room is the story about how the curse started and why. Others have stories about how the males survived afterwords"
Reply

"I'm going to have to look at the glyphs in our room after the tour," Leo said with a thoughtful frown. "I never noticed them there before.

"But please, shall we carry on with the tour of the temple?"
Reply

Shizan nods "this room is my treasure room" He points out some of the nicer things he has. There is also a pilots hat, and alot of gold statues
Reply

Leo pokes his head inside Shizan's treasure room. He briefly notices the pilot's hat and thinks it's from another plane crash where all involved were killed.

"I'm surprised there hasn't been mentions of a dragon in this area," Leo said with an amused smile as he brought his head back into the hallway. "People could really confuse you with a dragon with the amount of treasure you have."
Reply

Shizan purrs "there is the komodo dragon tribe. Thats the closest type of a dragon I know." He kisses Leo and holds him close
Reply

"That's not the type of dragon I'm talking about," Leo said returning the kiss and cuddling next to Shizan as he smiled. "The dragon I'm taking about is a mythical creature that is in myths from pretty much every human culture in every corner of the globe."

He then giggled.

"Then again, a jaguar that can change into a human would fall into the same category."
Reply

Shizan smiles and purrs "you can say this is a land of magic. There may be a dragon like that hidden somewhere." He hugs Leo close " I have the trash room as you found. There is 7 other rooms that I have yet to make a use for. What I own you own."
Reply

"I would like to see one, but they have a tendency to be rather seclusive," Leo said and placed his head on Shizan's shoulder. "We could probably use those 7 other rooms for when the kits get older and are still dependent on us."

He then looked at Shizan.

"Then again, I'm more used to human ways of raising young. I don't know how your kind raises young. Well, mainly when the young are sent off on their own t fend for themselves. For us humans, it's typically when the kids reach their 18th birthday or whenever they are able to get a job to sustain themselves and pay for their own place, which typically occurs after college."
Reply

Shizan looks at Leo suprised "18? so young? whats college? My people wait till they have chosen a territory and can defend it."
