Scott nodded, not minding the small quarters so much as he conjured a crib up for Riley, settling the infant inside with a kiss on the forehead before moving to the bed.

They got on bed and shifted a bit. Lance fidgeting even more than Scott, who had silently laid there, his back facing Lance. Even with Scott on his side, Lance was touching his slightly cool body. He was suddenly no longer sleepy, wide awake and quite aware of Scott's form beside him.

Scott felt Lance's unease, beginning to project a soothing vibe throughout the room to calm him. Humans needed sleep much more than angels, after all.

Lance was soon lured to sleep by the vibe. He hadnt been able to sleep this well for a while, ans he wasnt quite sure what hit him when he woke up the other morning quife refreshed.

Scott smiled when he felt Lance relax and fall asleep behind him, allowing himself to drift off as well.

Lance woke to an armful of Scott. He looked confusingly at the form before a big smile appeared on his face. He may have snuggled this close to chase the warmth only, but he wss very glad of the outcome

Scott was cuddled close, hands gripping Lance's shirt weakly in his hands as he continued sleeping soundly. He let out a soft grumble when Lance moved, huddling somehow closer.

Lance's heart warmed up at the adoring gesture of Scott and he hugged him closer to his chest. He wanted to help and love this poor angel more, shield him from danger with hid meague power. He hoped this moment can last forever.

Scott woke a few minutes later, smiling softly at the human laid next to him. "Good morning," he said softly, feeling an overwhelming need to protect this human. They were always so vulnerable...

"Morning." Lance smiled brightly at the beautiful angel. "Have a good night of sleep right?" He kissed his cheek that was slightly red from how Scott leant toward him ib his sleep.

"I did, how are you?" Scott asked softly, enjoying the small kiss to his cheek.

"Slept like a baby. I hadnt felt this refreshed in quitr a while. Thanks for doing whatever magic you performed." Lance smiled as he kept their position, wanting to enjoy the sensation for a bit longer.

"I simply calmed you. It wasn't difficult because of our close proximity," Scott smiled, content as he was curled up next to Scott.

"Scott... you are helping me in so mnay ways. Why am I so blessed here." Lance smiled and kissed Scott again and wrapped him even tighter. "I wish I dont need to wake up.... Tell me I am not dreaming?"

Scott contently returned the kiss, nuzzling into Lance's shoulder. "You aren't dreaming, no," he reassured, allowing his wings to be shown and wrap around Lance.

"ahh those wings. yes confirming it as they arne't pure white as it would be in my imagination." Lance closed his eyes to breath in Scott's scent. A few minutes later he reopened his eyes and said with a groan. "As good as this felt, I think I need to wake up or we wouldn't be able to get anything done today."

Scott nodded when Lance said he needed to get up, retracting his wings and rolling over to the crib, gently pulling Riley into his arms. The infant was still contently asleep, cuddling close to Scott when he was picked up.

Lance went forward to ruffle Riley's hair and said in a low voice. "I was thinking I can bring you to fmiliarize the neighborhood, so that when I had to resume work, you would be able to navigate the area. Is it alright for you? We can bring Riley with us."

"I don't know, Lance. I don't know very much about humans, I don't know what to say," Scott stammered, holding Riley close as he slept.

"If you are not ready yet we can just stay in door for now, but I will need to go out for some grocery today. So.. like before whne I go to get firewoods, are you alright with being here with Riley?"
