Shinjo was going impatient to claim his mate and unborn offspring. He could smell them growing inside the male's body and calling for him. He purred and decided to use a sleep spell on the others to knock them out. So he could steal his mate away forever and be uninterrupted for the birth. He watched as the others passed out leaving him to call to the male to come to him one last time.
