Rigel nodded his head in understanding at Tobias's awkward answer. It was an incredibly awkward question to throw out there, and he appreciated Tobias's honesty. Rigel winced a little at the inquiry about bathing. "Well...I don't exactly have a shower you see...I have a tub with a water pump that may or my not work. The blasted thing is very fickle. That's why I went out to the other pump to get water. That one I know will work."

Rigel stood up from the bed, one hand going to his lower back, which pushed out his belly and made it's overall size more apparent. He led Tobias over to the adjoining bathroom and showed him an old, but sturdy, brass tub, with an equally old looking water pump at the head of it. Waddling over to it, he started working the pump rather harshly.

"Come on you...work dammit" Rigel cursed under his breath. He kept pumping away for a couple of minutes. He looked over at Tobias every once in a while with an awkward and apologetic smile. He was just about to give up when a small squirt shot out from the pump. Rigel began to pump even faster, and sure enough, water soon started pouring from it. "Ha, ha! Here's the soap. Enjoy!" Rigel grabbed the soap from the sink, handed it to Tobias and left him to his business.
