No one would ever say Alex Wolcott was popular. Or handsome. Actually, everyone in the college where he studied, in new york, thought he was ugly, and a weirdo to the bones. He was short, thin and gangling, had lots of tatoos and scars in his face. His hair was black, and very dry and unkempt, and his eyes were black too. 

He was not good at sports, and rarelly talked to others, and when he did, it was always in an cryptic way, as if he could see the person's soul or future. He also was always reading, all day, and, sometimes, write things in a notebook with a black cover. He was always dressed as if it was very cold, with grey coats and sweatpants, or as if he was coming back from a funeral, with black formal shirts and pants. And he often would wear a black or red hooded cape. 

People were always making fun of him, calling him "weirdo", beating him, and other thinks like that. What those people didn't know, however, is that Alex Wolcott was a sorcerer, and a very powerful one. The way people saw him was not his true form, but a disguise. He was in that school because he wanted to know how was life for a person considered different in the human world.
