Sid grabbed Bailey's arm and started to help him back up the steps. His heart was pounding and he could hear blood rushing in his ears, but he had to keep his cool. He had to get Bailey back to the train and keep him calm.

The steps were rough and Bailey was panting by the end, Sid taking more and more of his weight. Once they were back above ground, Sid stopped and put his hands on Bailey's shoulder.

"Did your water just break?" asked Sid seriously. He tried to keep himself from trembling but he could see the noticeable tremor in his hands so Bailey had to notice it.
