Scott should be wanting to back away from the man and be defensive as usual. In fact, he wanted to, yet his body did not seem to receive the message. Benny took a step forward and the male began to feel small. Again. He was certain he had not been under the drugs of that potion again or at least Benny assured him that he had not used it on him unless he had a good reason. All of this was really making him paranoid and confused, things a Hunter did not need to have in their mental psyche.

"I guess..." His heart was beginning to pound a bit fast as Benny neared him again with another step. "It's not you I'm worried about, rather the Clave...I could have warned you all before about it, but..." What was this aura Benny was beginning to emanate from his body? Something about it seemed dominating while Scott felt like he needed to embrace the man. "I don't understand what's...happening right now." His words were choked up, something he really did not have before. 

"All of those ideas sound terrible, except maybe the jerky. Used to eat a lot of if when hunting. Regular hunting before the incident." Maybe telling him some slight irrelevant information would break him out this awkward spell.
