"You'll need a saddle for the ride," Darius added before he pulled Tobias close and took the man into his arms. He kissed Tobias' nose and lips as he explained. "I am not risking you on my back. You'll have to ride on my front but I'm sure you'll prefer that to being cold. My belly is very warm."
"I know where that is at least." He carried the mother of dragons out of the silk room into another chamber they hadn't been in before. He set Tobias on the ground before he went over to one of the large wooden chests set in even rows. He opened the heavy lid of the third chest on the first row then reached inside. He pulled out what looked to be a mess of black leather and bronze rings.
"Help me lay this out," Darius suggested because it would take two people to unwind the ball.
