"I don't like it when you force yourself to soften," Darius clicked his tongue. "In dragons if done too much, it will cause the blood to stop flowing." He didn't get Tobias a chance to respond before smoke rose up around him. Once it faded, the Dragon King stood tall and proud.
The King shook his large form like he was trying to get the blood flowing back into his limbs. He looked down at the saddle then smiled. "Now let's see if I remember how to put this on." He pulled one piece over his back making sure it laid in between the massive spikes toward his head. He made sure to set another piece between the spike near his hind legs. "You're going to have to help me with the part," he explained to Tobias as he picked up a large solid square with buckles on each corner. "You'll sit in here while we fly."
