Steve thought about his temporary desk position at the precinct. "I'm already unpopular at my day job, so I think I'll just hand in my two-weeks notice and ride this out as long as I can. I don't like the idea, but it would mean I could stream more. Maybe get the European crowd in there for the daytime." He made a face at Will. He needed to ask the guy about himself in a little more detail one of these days.

Steve tried to get comfortable on the couch, but he noticed it wasn't as easy these days. "Hey, word to the wise for just a moment. One day, I'm gonna be too big for this couch and will need to get a better mattress. So next time you calculate what I've paid off, be sure to include that in there."
