He was so close now, that Lago just shifted back to human form and flat out ran towards the tree line. He heard Demus' familiar voice, and tears started to fall from his eyes. "I'm here Demus!" He saw Demus' bright, blonde hair and his adorable freckles as he leaped over some bushes, and before Lago could react, his mate practically crashed into him and they fell to the ground. Thankfully Demus landed to his side, and he wraped his arms around Demus as tightly as he could. He sniffled and started crying, too caught up in the moment to say anything. They were both silent, minus Lago's crying, for a moment. Lago held onto his mate's torso, feeling him up and down, as if he was terrified it was all some cruel nightmare.

Then he heard Demus' question and started laughing through his tears. "Of course this is real you dummy! Oh God, I almost can't believe you came back...I almost lost hope." He took Demus' face into his hands and kissed him with all the passion he'd been saving up for over a month. "I missed you...so much", Lago choked out, more tears running down his face. He then took Demus hand and placed it on his belly. "We missed you so much", he said with a joyful smile.
