Trevor ran through the channels until a horn was heard. He rose from the couch slowly as he headed back downstairs. Outside near the front door, a white mustang was parked with all the other cars. Brad had stepped out the car as another car rolled in. The female behind the wheels was different. Her head was red like Amelia's, prompting Trevor to realize it was her daughter. "I guess everyone's here" that meant another day could take off. He did plan to tell Leo about the cave, but that was for another endeavor. The male was just glad that there was another form of a vehicle. Stuffing himself inside a van just bored him beyond all reasoning. He headed back upstairs to ready himself for the day.
When everyone was awake and ready, Leo's parents announced the events for the day. They had to go meet some friends of theirs. It honestly felt like he was at some kind of family reunion or gathering of sorts rather than on a vacation. If he had some kind of down time to himself, it was something he did not mind. Especially if he was behind some kind of wheels. He took the keys from Leo's mom after getting the talk about driving responsibly. In an area full of snow, it would be impossible for him to miss seeing something that was not of the color white. He waited downstairs fully clothed for Leo. He thought to hit the same cafe up instead of eating the breakfast Amelia had prepared. Sometimes she made the best food and other times -like this particular morning- she made things that did not agree with his tongue.
