August had finished cleaning the house after a rather excruciatingly long day. He'd made his way around starting with the master bedroom and then the girl's bedroom, had moved to the bathrooms next, and ended with the kitchen and living room nearing the early evening. It still gave him enough time to relax a bit before Xander got home which he was eternally grateful for because he was pretty sure that his significant other would likely be in a bad mood when he arrived home. Their two daughters were upstairs sleeping - or so he thought they were, they could be up and quietly playing around for all he knew - and August took some much needed time sitting on one of the couches in the main room, easing back somewhat comfortably as the pressure from his feet and legs and back was relieved somewhat. He swore he was never doing this again, never having totally unprotected sex with Xander. Despite their less than perfect relationship, August did love him, but he knew he was a pushover. He knew that he could tell himself things and then be tossed aside like nothing the moment Xander walked in the door. Maybe he would look into birth control after these buggers were born because he really didn't want to go through another pregnancy, not again.
He'd had his two daughters separately but now he'd gotten the pleasure of conceiving twins. It worried him a lot, but he knew they'd be able to get through it. They always did. August was having doubts about getting through the rest of this pregnancy though. He was seven months along, give or take, but he was already huge. Even the maternity clothes he had on now didn't fit snugly. He just had to keep reminding himself that there was only two more months of this and he'd be done and immediately he'd look into birth control. He might have to take it in secret but it was better than risking another kid or two. Closing his eyes and resting his head on the armrest of the couch, August sighed exhausted. He'd cook something soon but for now he was enjoying the peace and quiet.
