Proteus got in with his spare key. He was getting familiar with it now, and more used to human lifestyle with how frequent he visited Greyson. He had developed an overwhelming sense of protectiveness over the bearer of his children, and even when he wasnt physically visiting, he watched from afar not wanting to disrupt with Greyson's normal life.
