Jareht didn't have much time to tend to the baby as he quickly scooped him up, still bloody, and put the baby on Jace's now puffy belly. He then had to pull over clean towels to press on Jace's wounds, which was once again split with the passing of the baby. He put pressure on the wound, and blood quickly soaked through it. Jareth could only hope the bloodflow would slow down soon. Jace couldn't take that much bloodloss.
