Brayden watched as he made it back to the cave with the naked form in his arms that was Leo. The male was resting peacefully, but he could tell he was already pregnant. The children would be ready within a month thanks to their wolf gene, so that meant he would be showing in a few weeks or so. All that mattered now was that he had someone that he assumed was a girl at some point. He placed the resting figure in the truck as he drove back into the town. The smell of others mating all around him were beginning to annoy his nose.

Brayden woke the next morning in his bed. Everything had seemed like a huge blur to him. He remembered going to the cave that night and after that, almost nothing. He groaned in the bed as he looked around the dark room before feeling someone under the covers with him. He glanced over, seeing brown hair. Had he dreamed that Lynette was dead? He began to lean over towards the other figure, trying to see if it was really her. He began to rub Leo's shoulders, but the fact that the other person's shoulders were much rougher and broader confirmed that it was not her. It dawned on him the smell coming off the figure was masculine which made him shoot out the bed, falling on the floor with a loud thud in panic.
