Chauncey took out his phone and punched in the numbers, holding it up to his ear then, he shifted his weight from foot to foot as he moved further down the driveway. Hearing the rustling as well, he turned to meet eyes with Antonio and then toward the cornfield, his own hand reflexively moving toward the grip of his gun. Leaning his head to keep the phone between his shoulder and cheek, moving his hand to grasp his flashlight instead,"What?"
He squinted into the darkness, stepping closer to his partner again and pulling out his flashlight, turning it on and pointing it toward the giant lump that stood in the middle of the field. It didn't register at first, he wasn't exactly sure what they were looking at as he blinked and didn't even tear his eyes away from the sight,"Do you... You see that too, right?"
His heart was in his throat, even without it moving it sent off his flight or fight reflexes and he tightened his grip around his flashlight before he could drop it. Eyes widened as much as they could go, as if that would help him figure out what exactly they were looking at.
He hadn't even realized that the phone had gone to voicemail beneath his ear, grabbing it and blindly hanging up,"S-Should we..." His voice broke off and he wasn't sure what to say any more as he made a decision,"Inside. Now." He pushed his phone into his front pocket and kept his light on it,"Let's go." This screamed danger.
