Antonio let his gaze roam the area. He didn't see anything in all honesty, aside from the doors that swung ajar and crooked on their hinges. Things were eerily silent outside as thought every single living thing had decided to hold it's breath or at least flee the scene of the crime. The corn fields maybe rustled slightly a few times, but as nothing ever came out of them, he was certain it was just the wind or an animal that was creeping through the fields. Antonio stayed within range of his partner, keeping his eye out for someone or something at least. He shined his flashlight into the corn whenever a rustle could be heard, but just as he'd suspected, it ended up sending raccoon fleeing past. It seemed frightened of something, but also assumed it was just fear of them.
He investigated a bit, but he didn't actually find any blood in the area which was amazing enough. Of course, he was glad as he could hope that no one presently living in this house had been drug off by someone...However, his attention was caught when he saw the gleam of a translucent slime as soon as the beam of light from the flashlight crossed it. He frowned and looked down at it. He dared not touch of it as he didn't know what it was... But if this was some local crazy's excuse of making someone believe in aliens...
He looked over at D'Anton briefly before rising to his feet to join him. "I found more of it back over there.." He gestured to where he'd been crouching moments ago. "I haven't found any blood yet though and the windows around here actually aren't broken.." The only thing wrong was this slime and the broken doors. This entire thing could be someone's idea of a prank though.. Someone trying to prank them into believing someone was in actual danger, that someone had actually been abducted by some 'spooky aliens' or whatever.. He sighed when D'Anton admitted they needed to give them some credit.
"I guess you're right. It'd obviously manage to fool Tyson into thinking it's aliens at least." He said as he moved off to go and continue his search. Shining his flashlight around, the goop seemed to lead into the field of corn. Drawing nearer to it, nothing was really out of place here.. Again other than the good. He begrudgingly admitted he was impressed that teens or local nut jobs trying to pull a stupid ass joke had managed to be so clean about this... It was actually a little unreal and made him wonder if it really was someone more experienced at this sort of thing.. He kept the seven abductions in mind though... It was possible if those people really had been abducted, this was one of those moments. It was a worrying thought and far worse than the idea that someone was trying to pull a prank on them.
"I think I found a trail of that slime. It leads in to the corn field though." He looked back towards D'Anton and waved his hand as he called back to him. He wouldn't go any further without his partner. It could end up being a mistake after all.
