Maor wasn’t exactly a fan of red wine, but the taste of berries from what he briefly had tasted nice. As for the clam chowder before him, he casually took some of it alongside some of the bread served. It tasted great, but when noticing that Carl and even Adam barely...well they didn’t touch it at all...the food before them.
“It’s totally fine,” Adam assured them when noticing this. “You all must have been wandering out for a little while. We’re just letting you get your fair share more than anything.”
Just to calm their nerves, Adam took a bowl, having of the soup and dessert itself and it came from the same places they picked, so if they had fears that it was spiked, he would suffer as well as they would.
“That’s weird,” Maor said, eating the soup. “I never heard of a snowstorm out in the middle of Spring, but then again, it is freezing cold right about now.”
After all, they were out there with classmates and professors who made sure the weather was in decent condition before traveling out on the trip. If Maor’s phone had a sturdy signal, he would check the weather to be certain.
“How uh, long have you all been out here exactly?”
