Dusk had begun to fall by the time Aramis had arrived at the outskirts of town. He doesn't know the name of the settlement, but what unnerves him the most is the overwhelming scent of alphas nearby. With a makeshift bag tugged securely over his shoulder, he eyes the city from the edge of the forest not too far away. He's aware of the risks that come with entering an area crawling with alphas, had escaped packs of them before in the past couple weeks even, but with day three of his heat fast approaching, Aramis was determined to find a place to stay... if only for the few more days while he was at his most vulnerable. There hadn't been many places or buildings to stay in over the past day of his travel; they were either too unsafe or provided no shelter. He was already getting sick from the cold, and the rain that often passed over during the night hadn't helped. All he required was a room, one safe enough for at least the next week, and then he'd be gone again, back to traveling to God only knows where on his own once more.
Taking a deep breath, Aramis works past his nerves and pushes past the treeline for the settlement. His scent was strong, pheromones spiked from the beginnings of his heat already. He frowns as he walks, the very slightest bit of slick rubbing between his legs with every step. He wanted to be fast, he didn't want to deal with a bunch of rowdy alphas after some tail. Under his somewhat messy black hair, green eyes stared forward; bags had made themselves present on his exhausted features, evidence that he clearly hadn't gotten much rest for a long time. With a quiet huff, Aramis begins his trek around the edges of the city where it appeared there weren't many individuals. He looks from building to building overhead and, ultimately coming to pick one that seemed decent enough, he heads for it. His pace is quickened, as thus far he's fortunately not had contact with any of the alphas in town he knows very well are around.
