Eli rolled his eyes and shook his head "Whatever man... it's your life." Eli said as he strolled out of their pod and toward a few of the so-called friends he had.
Eli kept his eyes focused on his pod and where his new cellmate was... sure, he was disappointed that Jace had declined his offer... and yes, if Jace came to him looking for protection, Eli would almost gladly give it - There was just something about the younger man that made him want to be close to him - it was odd.
