Caesar didn't have the time to grab the towel as Victor asked, and already the older man was crying out in pain with another push. Peeking over the still large belly, it was still visually shocking how big the baby's head appeared to be. He took the Victor closer and gently put a towel on his wound - there was in teh end something useful in what material was left behind by the doula.
"good, good you're doing ok...." caesar muttered wiping away sweat on his own forehead. "it's not gonna be too big... our first baby's big enough, so you will manage." he said pressing a kiss on Victor's belly that mountained over his frame. "it's going to be alright... you are pushing brilliantly, everything's on the right track. You are doing this Victor. You are a champion." Caesar said with bright eyes, looking at the solider with admiration. "you are my pride..." he muttered pressing the towel a little harder onto the bleeding tear, holding it intact while the baby's shoulder again slammed against his abused opening.
