Caleb shook his head, but then realized he was on the phone with Zach. "No. No, I just need to get there... I'll make sure to look into everything." Caleb said and then, without another word or barely another breath, he hung up and curled up against the floor. He still felt sick, still felt like crying, but he didn't - Zach needed to know about this, and Caleb needed to stay strong. For both his sake, and the unborn child growing inside of him.
--------
Next week couldn't have come soon enough. Caleb was anxious and jittery the entire flight from Spring Grove to Los Angeles. He felt like he was going to crawl out of his own skin and everyone kept looking at him like he was about to blow the plane up; it didn't help that he had a bag clutched tightly to his chest. He was afraid that if anyone saw him, they'd just know automatically... He was pregnant, carrying a child out of wedlock... Carrying Zach Martin's child, all because of a stupid crush and a week-night-stand.
Caleb was the first to leave the plane once it settled at the terminal, he couldn't stand to sit there any longer than necessary. Sure, he got dirty looks - again - but he just didn't care. He needed fresh air, water, and something more substantial to eat than those small bags of peanuts the plane provided. He quickly found a vending machine to get the water, but he really wanted food, and was not about to pay the price at the airport. He found the baggage claims and got his bag, and then started looking around for Zach, or a sign, or something that would point him in the right direction.
