Eli pushed his way past the guards, having seen how upset Jace looked. He didn't care about anything except for getting to Jace and finding out what was wrong with him. Once he was finally secured inside of the cell, he pulled the door so it would lock and then he went over to Jace "Hey, what's wrong? What did the doctor say?" Eli asked urgently.
He didn't know what was wrong with Jace, but he could tell that the man was upset, so he took the bag he had been packing and tossed it aside - none of that was important to Eli at the moment; the only thing that concerned him was Jace, and if there was something truly, seriously wrong with him. The worry and concern was so deeply etched on Eli's face, it was hard to miss "Jace, please... talk to me..." he requested quietly - tears clogging his own voice.
