Martin nodded his head and inhaled shakily before he stepped into the apartment; he still had the folders tucked against his side underneath his arm, and half of his badge was sticking out of his shirt - he had hastily just shoved it in there in his rush to get out of the department.

Martin turned to face Ezra, not at all caring about the state of the other man's apartment "I want to arrest you, so badly, Ezra... but I can't..." Martin said quietly; he pulled Ezra's file and slapped it against the man's chest "I can't because there are things you need to be aware of...but first, I need a logical alibi and someone I can shove this shit on... so you're in the clear!"
