It was painful to think about, but Clay left some subtle messages. He was tortured to comply. He couldn't comply too fast and he certainly could not comply too late. To make matters worse, they drowned out most of his senses, replaced with headsets and a screen where he was subject to hearing the lewdest material. As it stood, his mentality changed from someone of a traditional family to accepting that he could very well bear another man's child or children. He was told he was very fertile and potent after all.
