Now he was basically being leashed. Great. Jaxon wasn't interested in the food and as a result, let it get passed up. He wanted privacy without, well, the odd company of strangers.
"Can I at least run a shower," he said. "And go back to my hotel room?"
Henrique glanced at Ivan. "Yea, once I shower off. Can't exactly parade out in the day reeking of last night affairs."
He recommended Ivan did not try to leave the room in his absence though. Given their location, he would most likely get thrown back in the room from the guards. Henrique exited out the bathroom close to thirty minutes later, dressed in blue jean shorts that stopped a little above his knee and an otherwise loose button navy blue shirt.
"Alright, pessao (man), let's go!"
He opened his room door, out to a hallway that was more or less like a walkway at a small hotel, doors scattered on each narrow side with an open exit that greeted them with warm tropic air.
"We're a little far out from the hotel," he explained. "But you'll get a tour again on the way there. Welcome to some makeshift life of mine, often hidden behind the gate to keep most of the "heretics" out."
As he stepped out towards the exit, Henrique would reveal to Ivan a vast mansion with a view that was practically revealing most of Rio. Ivan would as a result see the border that separated the huge bustling city from the upper class, that of which they presently were at.
