Jeff comes alone to Sophia's clinic, dressed in a baggy hooded sweatshirt a few sizes too large and sweatpants, clearly trying to conceal the fact that he is with child. Jeff goes to the local college, having ridden the bus by himself to the clinic to see Sophia. Jeff is anxious, ashamed, and afraid for what the future holds for him.
