It was on that stretch of their walk that Nick really started to struggle, Nick's belly was feeling (and looking) especially huge now but he was determined to make it to the nursery windows. He did the best he could to keep his calm. As the two walked down the long hallway, people seemed to move out of Nick and Martina's way to give Nick as much room as he needed to get around. Some of them even gave a smile as if to say "good luck" or "congratulations". It was a real confidence booster, or so Nick thought. There was something about when a very pregnant person walking into a room, everyone drops whatever they're doing to help. "So...not that it matters, or anything, or that I don't enjoy your awesome company...what does Dr. Sommer's afternoon look like?" he asked.
