One of them shot their tongue outwards, the red sticky object wrapping around one of the male's legs. It's mouth opened extremely wide, ready to consume the figure whole. That was until a round fired and the top of it's head came clean off. The tongue was still attached, but it was dead. He readied his rifle for the other, trusting Tobias to handle the caught male. When it tried to jump, it threw Oisin's aim slightly off, the bullet hitting it' in the leg instead of the chest. That was good though. That meant the creature couldn't jump again, but it was still attempting to crawl after everything else. He reloaded and fired again, delivering the final blow to it.
