Aren was looking away, wincing as the baby instinctively kicked hard to protect itself. The baby wasn't used to someone touching without harming the stomach, besides Aren.
He nodded to Crux, listening to what he said, mentally agreeing with him. He placed his hand his stomach, hoping the baby would calm down by now, but instead the little infant threw a kicking fit.
