Crux was surprised at how vigorously the baby was reacting that it's causing Aren such pain. He softened his touch, choosing to shift his hands sideways to Aren's waist so he wouldnt be in contacr with the baby directly, hopefuy the baby would calm down awhile he could massage the sore and stretched muscles of Aren's at his sides.
