He didn't want his wife to work full-time, so she really didn't need a degree, and he'd be done with college a year sooner than she would be. If he stayed in college, she could quit working in a couple years, then stay home with the kid all day. If Aaron dropped out of college now, he might never be able to support a family by himself.
