Carter nodded his head meekly and led Hector out of the dining room and into the study his father often used for business and other mayor-type things. He flipped on the light and exposed the hardwood floors, walls, and pretty much every surface -- It was tacky as hell but he couldn't complain.

Carter rubbed the back of his neck and took slow and deep breaths to try and calm his frayed nerves "I-... I want... want to apologize..." Shitttt. There goes his good speech pattern again he thought as he tried formulating the words in his head so they would come out properly. Another deep breath and Carter pushed forward, ignoring the overwhelming presence of Hector's body near his own.

"I was never informed about us having these arrangements. Not even as a child growing up. Yeah, it would have been nice to know so I wasn't so blind-sided tonight... This has no reflection on you, personally. I'm more angry with my father for not informing me than anything. I find you attractive, you are my type of guy - but I just don't know you!" Carter knew he was close to tears, could feel the heat building up behind his eyes.

He turned so his back was to Hector, not wanting to show the weaknesses that were so obvious in his small frame. He was weak, he knew that - he always had been - but Christ, showing them off to this alpha - his alpha - he didn't know what to truly expect. He sniffled and tried to stop the tears from riding down his face, but it was inevitable.
