"Yes, you must be Dr. Maxwell?" Jeff says, standing up to shake her hand, sounding unsure of himself. Sophia introduces herself and then motions for Jeff to follow her to an examination room. Jeff follows her to the room before taking a seat on the edge of the examination table, the experience of being at the doctor's office for this matter feeling very foreign and new. He hadn't been to the doctor yet since he conceived and Jeff prepared himself to explain to Dr. Maxwell what he had been working so hard to hide for the past months.
