Jace grabbed onto his stomach sobbing "He's not dead! He's not! I would know right?! Im his mate! No matter what he says, I know in my heart Legard is still alive!" he cried rubbing his stomach trying to stop the pain.

Jace nodded frantically and slowly calmed himself down til all you heard was a slight hiccup every now and again. "Alistair said I should think of Legard as d-dead. That he is so small that they will be able to hurt him easily. That no one will feed me if he does die because your pups will find it offensive if you give the food they brought for you to me" he rubbed at his eyes as the pain lessened
