Leo nodded as Brayden left the room. Figures that the soup would have been doctor's orders. Didn't the doctor know that he was pregnant? If the doctor knew about Brayden and Brayden's pack, of course the doctor would know. Oh well.

Leo looked up as he smelled the food--and Brayden--and smiled as Brayden handed Leo the plate, practically drooling.

"Gods, it feels like ages since I've aten this," Leo said, picking up his eating utencils and began to dig in with gusto.

Brayden merely watched as Leo ate a bit before his own stomach grumbled lowly. "And this is my cue to go get something from the cafeteria. Maybe if you're still hungry, I can bring you back a bit more." He walked down the halls once more, taking the elevator down to the second floor. When he entered the cafeteria, he immediately walked over to the section where fruit and other nutritious items were being served. Hefting up some yogurt, he walked off towards the entree line.

Brayden merely sat down, drinking the dark roast coffee slowly as he rubbed his eyes a bit. It had been just two days and already a lot was happening. It was probably too much to question his own sanity at the moment at how well he was about the entire situation. A feeling of revenge, however boiled towards one person and that was the ginger haired bastard that caused it all. He could take no pain in harming two innocent bystanders regardless on if they were affiliated with him. One was even carrying his children, something he tried to be at least grateful for.

Brayden rose from his chair, finishing his breakfast, but ordering a to-go plate just in case Leo wanted some more. He took a bottle of Fruit Punch and a muffin for himself as he made his way back upstairs. When he entered the room again minutes after, he set the plate nearby, awaiting to see the Doctor. "She may be in there checking in on Trevor at the moment. Maybe you both will get released today."

Leo just nodded as Brayden left the room. While Brayden was in the cafeteria getting food for himself, Leo finished off the food Brayden gave him earlier...and his stomach still grumbled in hunger.

Leo's stomach grumbled again, louder, as he smelled food coming his direction. Soon, Brayden appeared and, shortly after Brayden set the plate down, Leo grabbed the plate and began eating again.

"That's awesome...I think," Leo said in between bites. "You sure I should go home with my parents and family? You sure they won't hurt me or the babies?"

Brayden shrugged after he took a bite out the chocolate muffin. "I'm really not, but this is the only route we can go at the moment." They could only keep him from his parents for so long and even if he was given an extended stay, which was more than likely to happen given that Trevor was more than likely still not out the blue, it would be a bit difficult explaining the weight gain. "Perhaps we could try to have you stay a bit longer, but this is only going to become a bit more awkward on both ends...unless...If we did go with that plan before, maybe they would want to avoid you a bit more..." by plan, he meant the coming out one. Of course they would still love him, but he would have to imagine what would run through their heads, Hunter wise to say the least.

Leo continued eating--albeit slowly--as he mulled over what Brayden just said. If they tell his parents now, at least Brayden would be guaranteed to protect Leo and the babies. If they waited, there would be no guarantee of Brayden's protection. And if Leo's parents decided to shun him, at least Leo would be able to spend more time with Brayden. A lot more time. Leo was too nervous at the thought of telling his parents that they're going to be grandparents to children of a werewolf to really feel any other emotion--especially to the thought of spending more time with Brayden.

Leo sighed and set his silverware down, his hunger still there but it can wait. This is slightly more important.

"Bring them in," Leo said trying to be confident, but his nerves were given away by his fidgeting hands. "If they try hurting me and the babies, you'll be here to protect us. You most likely won't any other time if we wait."

Brayden was a bit shocked, but not surprised. There really was no other way around trying to keep the fact of his pregnancy a mystery. He was already beginning to show. He got up, walking towards the door. Glancing out after opening, he saw a figure leave from Trevor's room, the scent a bit unrecognizable yet familiar. The thought left as Leo's parents were sitting in there with the male. With the sign on Leo's door warning people not to enter, it only made sense.

"If you're ready to do this, then here we go..." he huffed as he left the door open, taking the sign off. It probably spelled bad blood, but Brayden would be more than enough to handle the situation. At least, he had.hoped so.

Leo nodded nervously and picked his silverware back up to resume eating. He was still hungry after all. He just hoped his parents would take the news better than he was thnking they'll take it. Either way, he had already made up his mind a long time ago--when he first learned he was pregnant actually: no matter what his parents thought about the pregnancy, he won't end it. Even if his parents insist on it.

"Any time now mom and dad," Leo whispered softly enough that, hopefully, Brayden couldn't hear. Leo wanted to get it done and over with so he won't harm the babies with the stress/anxiety he was currently feeling.

Brayden stood still clad in the scrubs, wondering what was taking the parents a bit long. Their shadows stood at Trevor's doors, but they really were not moving. He walked out a bit, attempting to use his check-up excuse, but he was greeted with an awkward stare by Leo's mother cold blue eyes, a gaze that kind of made him shudder. Perhaps it was a mother vibe.

"Well, did you bring it?"

"Bring what?" He scratched the back of his neck slightly. "I just came back from break."

"Ah..." she turned to look at the room once more, Brayden peeking inside, seeing two plates resting on the table, practically clean. "The doctor said it's a side effect from the coma he was in. We were waiting on another plate."

Brayden stared intently, looking at Trevor resting slightly as best he could. Unlike Leo, he smelled human, so perhaps he was just hungry.

"I'll go see what's taking so long." He turned to walk out quickly. When he left out, Leo's mother saw the other room open.

"I'll check in on Leo" she merely said before his name was yelled out a bit by a still drugged Trevor. She walked inside, chuckling a bit. "I see you and Trevor are quite busy with eating this morning." Taking the seat, she set her purse down. "How are you feeling? The Doctor said you had a case of walking pneumonia "
Reply

"I'm feeling....well," Leo said as he finished eating his breakfast and set his silverware down next to the plate. He was still hungry, but his nerves prevented him from eating anything more. "Walking pneumonia.....Sounds about right for my, uh, condition."

Leo worried his lip a bit as he debated how and when he should tell his parents--beginning with his mother; he would have preferred to tell his father at the same time as his mother, but he'd have to do with telling them separately. He would also prefer that Brayden was here for reassurance reasons, but if he took forever to return, Leo would have to tell his mother the truth without Brayden. And that scared Leo more than anything else.

Brayden walked down the hall with another plate in hand. When he stepped inside Trevor's room, he smiled briefly. "Third breakfast or something here" he chuckled. When Trevor reached to get it, his eyes glanced to see something he definitely saw before. It was not truly noticeable, but there was a bump underneath Trevor's gown. Not taking the moment to stare further, he simply nodded to Leo's father, stepping out quickly as he made his way back inside Leo's room. Blue eyes gazing at the mother and the male in bed, he simply stared, trying to think of proper words to not only mention what he just noticed with Trevor, but also try to figure out how he was going to approach the situation with the parental figure there.

Leo looked at Brayden as he entered and smiled at him before slowly removing it as Leo remembered his mother was there.

"Um, mother I, uh," Leo began and stopped as he just couldn't think about what he wanted to say to his mother. He wanted to tell her with Brayden nearby as a just in case protection-wise, but just couldn't bring himself to do so. At least, not yet anyway. So he just sat there and nervously played with his bedsheet and didn't bother looking at his mother. Especially since he felt his cheeks beginning to heat up with a blush.

Brayden looked at the nervousness of Leo's face and apparent words. He was choking up with his mother, but the male was a bit too pressed to care at that point. "Your son is going through a few changes and if I had to guess, his friend is as well"

It was what he could come up with at the current moment. If the mother pressed it fully, she would simply ask what was going on with him, but hopefully Leo got what he meant. "We've been running a few tests within the past day and they're showing strange symptoms we thought were aligned with the Flu other than Mr. Miller's cuts. "

It was not the full on truth, but maybe it gave Trevor the motivation to speak.

Leo looked up--finally--at Brayden in confusion, but once Leo saw the stern-ish look Brayden was giving Leo, he knew that he had to tell his mother. Now.

Leo took a deep breath in order to calm his nerves before speaking.

"It's not the flu," Leo began, not looking at his mother afraid of what he'd see in her face/eyes. "I mean, it could be but it's not. I'm actually...pregnant. It's a long story of how it happened. Like, a really long story."

Leo pulled back the bedsheet in order to show his mother the gentle swell in his belly as proof that he wasn't making it up.

"I'm sorry mother," Leo said in a near whisper. "I know I'm too young to be a parent, but the circumstances surrounding how I became pregnant....there's no way around it. I'm going to be a parent and you and dad grandparents."
Reply

His mother chuckled. "Pregnant?" She stared at the swell and rose from her seat. "Honey, look at all this food you've been eating." She glanced at Brayden. "Now what do you mean him and his friend?"

"They both were exhibiting signs for it throughout the night" he lied. He only noticed it in Leo, only witnessing Trevor with a swell of his own, though smaller. He probably was just hungry after all. "If to confirm the hospital's suspicions, we're going to perform a pregnancy test, urine and sonogram. We were unsure how to handle it last night other than to---"

"I see...." she simply said. "We'll run the tests and if it is confirmed, I want to know what really went on the other night Leo." Her face was that of a serious disposition. Brayden merely walked towards the desk, pulling out a box full of pregnancy tests. He handed three to Leo just to confirm it several times.

Leo sighed, not in despair but in disappointment that his mother hadn't taken his word--and his swollen belly--for the truth. Granted, he just finished a rather large breakfast, so his mother could have assumed that he had been eating throughout the night. Wanting to prove to his mother that he indeed was pregnant, Leo accepted the pregnancy tests Brayden handed to him and quickly got out of bed before heading to the bathroom.

He ripped the pregnancy tests out of their boxes, moved aside his hospital gown, and urinated making sure each test got a sample of his urine, placing them on the counter next to the sink once they received the urine sample. When he finished, he washed his hands and sat on the edge of the bathtub as he waited for the tests to display their results.

After the correct amount of time had passed, Leo stood and looked at them. The results were positive. With a nod, Leo grabbed the tests and walked out, giving the tests to his mother as he walked by.

"Proof enough mother?" Leo said as he climbed back into his bed in order to sort out how he'll tell his mother the truth of what happened.

Brayden merely waited, a sickness churning in his stomach. This was the right thing to do, but it was probably not going to end well. When Leo walked out, his heart raced a bit as he showed her the tests, revealing the same result: Leo was pregnant. His mother was merely left baffled as he instructed Brayden to leave so she could talk to Leo.

"That's kinda the thing..." he merely said while sitting on the counter. "I'm the one that got him pregnant...." He could now cue the awkward tension already rising to explode now. Of course she now knew what Brayden was along with what possibly happened to Leo.

"And Trevor?" She asked.

"I don't know...We found him bloodied and bruised..."

Leo breathed a sigh of relief when Brayden said that he was the father. One less thing for Leo to explain to his mother.

"Trevor might be pregnant as well, but we don't know for sure," Leo said. "We were too concerned about healing his wounds to worry about anything like that.

"Well then, now that that's out, you probably already know what really happened Mother. I don't think I need to do any more explaining, do I Mother?"
Reply

Leo's mother merely stared at them both coldly, her long nails digging into the leather of her purse. "I see...Trevor's cuts never healed while yours..." Brayden glanced to see Leo's wrappings gone a bit, small amounts of dried blood showing itself from otherwise fully healed wounds.

"While I believe none of you brought this onto yourself, I have an order to maintain.." she rose from her chair, not looking at either. "Make sure Trevor is alright before thinking he may be. He's human after all."

Her heels clicked out the room, walking into Trevor's room to pull Leo's father out. Brayden still felt uneasy.

"I imagine being raised to.kill things like us only for their own flesh and blood to be "damned" is a pain to the heart." He hopped off the counter. "Since you are his friend and if it confirms my suspicion, you're going to.need to tell him his dream was real and some sick monster really did screw his life up."
Reply

"But mom," Leo said as he watched her leave the room. He then sighd and slumped his shoulders forward, clearly upset that his mother didn't take it as well as he hoped she would...but she didn't freak out either, so that's a plus.

"Yeah, it is," Leo said softly as he made to get out of bed, sighing. "I just hope Trevor takes the news....basically, let's just hope he doesn't go ballistic and try to harm me and our babies."

Leo was part joking and part serious with his last statement. With a heavy sigh, he got out of his bed and began making his way to the door and Trevor's room.

"She'll get over it...hopefully..." His mother did have to explain things to his father after all. Brayden walked out the room and into Trevor's, merely standing at the walls. "You and me both..." he merely murmured to Leo about Trevor not freaking out to the point he would try to attack Leo and the kids. If they were lucky, he was not pregnant and they would not have to tell him anything. Knowing their streak however, nothing ever went good so far.

"Alright. Trevor, I'm going to need for you to take one of these tests right here. It's nothing bad, but just a way to see if you're recovering down there fully."

With Trevor still being on the drugs slightly, of course he bought it. He climbed out the bed slowly after Brayden helped him get to his crutches, allowing him to head inside the bathroom.

"Your mother could be right" he closed the room's door, locking it. "He's still wounded and you've already healed completely. He may not be pregnant, though if he is, it would explain why the assailant did not flat out kill him." His eyes shot up a bit. "Has there been anyone else in this room besides me and the Doctor checking in on him?"
